A simple, effective kit that is primarily developed to help recover power losses and improve performance when using oversized tires. The kit does, however, help even for stock tires for those that use the vehicle in soft terrain or switch tire sizes seasonally, etc.

Larger or heavier tires hurt performance everywhere. Rotating weight and added gearing from larger tires hurt acceleration and speed. This kit helps correct the rate of shift of the belt for the intended use. Improves bottom end performance without further loss of top speed. Throttle response is improved and better back shifting of the belt when the vehicle senses load form soft terrain or hills.

FAQ: I have some trail tires that are called 30” but they actually measure just less than 29”. Can I use this clutch kit?
 
Answer: When looking up clutch kits for your model, you always go by what the tires are “called”, not what they measure. Many tires are actually smaller than what is stamped on them. However, in this particular case, in some instances you could. If they measure small and are a 30” lightweight “AT” type trail tires for typical trail use it would be better than stock clutching. However, if you are often in soft terrain, have a mud tire, do sand dunes, etc, you should really be buying the proper kit that is designed for your tire size.
 
  • Calibrations and settings listed in the kit are for the stock hp of the vehicle
  • Requires some special factory BRP tools* and dealer installation.
  • The stock factory belt is the best for this application.
